Two young lovers walking on the lake
Their eyes seemed full of promisses
And their lips murmuring words for the eternity of their love.
She lays down on the grass
Shivers up her spine
As her lover takes her neck into his hands
So gently
She feels her place in the world is there
By his side...
What a feeling!
And his lover, with a spark in his eyes
And a grim in his lips
Starts to squeeze her neck
No more gently...
Her hands trying to catch the air
And her legs running to nowhere
While his lover look deep in her eyes
And she understands what his look means
Her body stops shaking, stops breathing
No more life in that lungs...
As he cleans up his hands
And go away
Leaving that pale body above the stars
Cold and alone...
What a fool
To believe in love.
